Californians for Energy Independence participated in the 71st Annual California LULAC State Convention and Take Action Summit event on April 28th.
More than 150 high school and college students, as well as adults looking for growth and enhancement of personal skills, participated in the event and explored opportunities related to future careers in energy, environment and sustainable technology. Local community-based leaders, together with students, conducted workshops ranging from immigration policy, challenges in the LGBTQ community, and shaping policies for Latino communities. The workshops also emphasized pursuing great career opportunities. Californians for Energy Independence presented materials and shared information on careers in the energy industry.
