More than 50 students from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme visited the California Mid-State Fair on July 26th. Students had a great day visiting the fair animals riding rides at the carnival, and enjoying fair food!

The students’ tour was sponsored by Ventura Citizens for Energy Independence, Western States Petroleum Association and Careers in Energy. As part of the program, students were provided Careers in Energy materials to learn about STEM field careers in the oil and gas industry.
