Californians for Energy Independence participated in the League of United Latin American Citizens 2019 California State Convention in Garden Grove on May 18th. Our “Careers in Energy” booth inspired and informed hundreds of students, teachers, education administrators, and family members as young minds ponder which fields to pursue in the near future. A career in energy was of interest to many students, and Californians for Energy Independence was on-hand to provide the information and set the students into the right path.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs. Californians for Energy Independence is proud to partner with LULAC to support education, civil rights, and employment opportunities.
