Los Angeles County
Californians for Energy Independence (CEI) is proud to work with community organizations, educators, and local elected officials to help build better communities. Throughout the County, CEI has partnered with great organizations like the Los Angeles Urban League, International Trade and Education Program and local high schools to promote the importance of STEM education through its Careers in Energy programming.
In Los Angeles County, CEI’s Careers in Energy programming includes: career booths, workshops, hands on mobile learning exhibitions and facility tours. Students participating in the program learn how excelling in STEM studies can lead to high paying and fulfilling careers.
Ventura County
Californians for Energy Independence (CEI) is proud to work with community organizations, educators, and local elected officials to help build better communities. Throughout the County, CEI has partnered with great organizations like the League of United Latin American Citizens, El Concilio Family Services, VC Innovates and CSU Channel Islands to promote the importance of STEM education through its Careers in Energy programming.
In Ventura County, CEI’s Careers in Energy programming includes: career booths, hands on workshops, mobile learning exhibitions, facility tours and career pathway programming. Students participating in the program learn how excelling in STEM studies can lead to high paying and fulfilling careers.
Fresno County
Californians for Energy Independence (CEI) is proud to work with community organizations, educators, and local elected officials to help build better communities. Throughout the County, CEI has partnered with great organizations like 59DaysofCode, the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and local middle schools to promote the importance of STEM education through its Careers in Energy programming.
In Fresno County, CEI’s Careers in Energy programming includes: career booths, hands on design competitions, and mobile learning exhibitions. Students participating in the program learn how excelling in STEM studies can lead to high paying and fulfilling careers.
Santa Barbara County
Californians for Energy Independence (CEI) is proud to work with community organizations, educators, and local elected officials to help build better communities. Throughout the County, CEI has partnered with great organizations like the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and Alan Hancock College and to promote the importance of STEM education through its Careers in Energy programming.
CEI, 59DaysOfCode and the Geekwise Academy are opening doors and improving the lives of rural students and families by providing the skills necessary to get paying jobs in engineering and technology."
The Urban League is committed to ensuring that our students are socially and academically prepared to graduate from high school on time, and are work-ready and college-bound. Monterey County for Energy Independence and Careers in Energy participated in the inaugural STEM Expo at Hartnell College. Hundreds of students refined their job searching skills and learned about job opportunities in innovative fields like agriculture and energy!
