Over 1,000 people attended and participated in the Mujeres Empowered for Success event which featured motivational speakers, entertainment, and a job resource fair. The 3rd Annual Latina Conference event focused on the empowerment and recognition of the strength, drive, and boundless potential of women.

Careers in Energy and California Resources Corporation participated in the event, which took place at the LA Trade Technical College in Los Angeles. Teresa McCoy, a Geological Advisor at California Resources Corporation, participated on the panel discussion where they talked about the importance of STEM education and the different career pathways and opportunities that are available within the industry.
