Nearly 20 students from Mendota and Firebaugh High Schools participated in a computer design competition hosted by 59DaysofCode and Californians for Energy Independence (CEI). The judged competition required students to develop a campaign promoting technology jobs in the energy sector. During lunch, students received cinch bags, pens and other CEI-Careers in Energy materials and discussed with staff various career opportunities in the oil and gas industry.
