More than 2,000 local junior high, high school, college students attended Career Exploration Day at Allan Hancock College. Californians for Energy Independence (CEI) hosted a Careers in Energy booth, focusing on careers in the energy industry that can be achieved through many different education paths. Students were surprised to learn that the educational experience necessary to get a well-paying and rewarding job in the energy industry ranged from a high school diploma to a Master’s degree!
