Californians for Energy Independence participated in the “Cruisin’ Back to the 50’s – Culver City Car Show” in Culver City on May 11th. Our “Careers in Energy” booth inspired and informed residents from Culver City and the greater Los Angeles area on the importance of the oil & gas industry in everyday life, as well as provided information for those who may be interested in pursuing a career in the energy field.

The event featured hundreds of classic cars and hot rods, and with free admission and free parking, individuals crowded the park as the gourmet food truck court, live music, and community booths allowed for the opportunity to meet community members and share visions of the present and future of energy.
