Californians for Energy Independence partnered with Aera Energy, California Resources Corporation, Seneca Resources, Renaissance Petroleum and the Western States Petroleum Association to bring the Mobile Oilfield Learning Unit to the Museum of Ventura County and Oxnard College. More than 350 5th grade students from Ventura County elementary schools attended, learning through hands-on activities about energy and the technologies and sciences involved with the oil and gas industry. Each student received Careers in Energy materials in English and Spanish.
