Ventura Citizens for Energy Independence was proud to partner with the Nyeland Promise program for our annual backpack giveaway in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, and Ventura County Health Care Agency. Residents from nearby neighborhoods and members of the Boys and Girls Club were treated to a barbeque lunch for the family, CEI backpacks, free flu shots, and information about other services available in the community.
