Californians for Energy Independence and local oil and gas employees from Aera Energy and California Resources Corporation participated in the Ventura County office of Education’s ‘Sustainable VC – Careers in Clean Tech’ event on March 14. More than 100 community college and high school students participated in the event and explored future career opportunities and sustainable technologies related to a variety of pathways including energy, environment and utilities.  Local oil and gas employees conducted hands on presentations and shared with students information about careers in the energy industry.
