Californians for Energy Independence was proud to sponsor the annual CSU Channel Islands Science Carnival at Rio Vista Middle School in Oxnard. At the Careers in Energy booth, students of all ages learned about earth science through our core sampling demonstration. CEI promotes innovation and education in STEM fields by partnering with educational institutions, community groups, professional organizations and local oil and gas producers on educational programs to encourage school students to explore careers in the energy industry.
